For this new build in County Offaly, our clients wanted a contemporary kitchen that felt open and well-proportioned, maximised natural light, and connected seamlessly with the surrounding views. Designed to be both streamlined and highly practical, the space incorporates intelligent storage and
carefully selected appliances without compromising on aesthetic.

The result is a refined black contemporary kitchen, defined by symmetry, clean lines, and subtle detailing, calm, functional, and tailored to modern living.

Symmetrical Cabinetry Design

Framed by extra-tall cabinetry, this kitchen is defined by a strong sense of symmetry and order. Storage is positioned on one side, while the working zones are arranged opposite — creating a layout that feels both considered and effortless to use.

Centrally Positioned Island

At 2.7m x 1.2m, the island anchors this kitchen, acting as both a functional workspace and social hub. L-shaped seating encourages informal dining and connection, while a downdraft extraction hob, recessed flush into the worktop, preserves the clean, uninterrupted lines of the design.

Designed to Maximise Views

This kitchen is centred around the home’s natural outlook, with every element working to preserve and enhance the view. A low-level window seat with concealed storage maintains clear sightlines, while offering a quiet, considered space to sit and take in the surroundings.
